Terms of Service
Last updated: 2026-05-15 · Reglint LLC · Entity ID 12015362
1. Not Legal Advice — Read First
⚠ Reglint is compliance tooling — not legal advice.
- No legal advice: The Service detects potential regulatory violations in code and AI outputs using automated pattern matching and an AI judgment layer. Nothing produced by the Service constitutes legal advice, legal opinion, or a determination of law.
- No attorney-client relationship: Accessing or using the Service does not create an attorney-client relationship between you and Reglint LLC, its employees, or any affiliated party.
- Consult qualified counsel: You must consult a licensed attorney in the relevant jurisdiction(s) for legal decisions, compliance strategy, regulatory filings, and any determination of whether your product or conduct satisfies applicable law. Reglint output is a starting signal, not a final answer.
By using the Service, you acknowledge and agree that Reglint's scan results are one input into your compliance process and that you bear sole legal responsibility for the compliance of your products, systems, and conduct.
2. Accuracy Disclaimer & As-Is Warranty
⚠ Measured detection rates — not guarantees.
- Layer 1 (Static Code Analysis): approximately 70–75% accuracy on internally tested batches. This means roughly 1 in 4 violations may not be detected (false negatives), and some flagged items may not be actual violations (false positives).
- Layer 2 (Runtime AI Agent Monitor): approximately 81% catch rate on internally tested batches. Approximately 1 in 5 violations may pass undetected.
- These figures are measured on Reglint's internal test sets and may not reflect performance on your specific data, domain, or regulatory context. Accuracy may vary materially across industries, languages, and edge cases.
- You are solely responsible for independently verifying every compliance decision and for the final compliance posture of your systems. Do not rely on Reglint as your sole or primary compliance control.
2.1 As-Is Warranty Disclaimer
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, FITNESS FOR ANY SPECIFIC REGULATORY FRAMEWORK, ACCURACY, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT. REGLINT DOES NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR COMPLIANT WITH ANY SPECIFIC REGULATION. YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE IS AT YOUR SOLE RISK.

6. Intellectual Property
The Service, including all software, detection models, regulatory knowledge bases, documentation, and branding, is owned by Reglint LLC and protected by copyright, trade secret, and other intellectual property laws. These Terms do not grant you any ownership interest in the Service.
You retain ownership of all content you submit to the Service (code snippets, AI outputs). We do not use your content to train AI models or share it with third parties except as described in our Privacy Policy.
You may not attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, extract, or reproduce Reglint's detection rules, regulatory knowledge base, or scoring logic.
7. Privacy & Data
Our collection and use of personal data is described in our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated by reference. By using the Service, you consent to our data practices as described there.
8. Limitation of Liability
8.1 Liability Cap
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, REGLINT'S TOTAL CUMULATIVE LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ANY CLAIMS ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO THESE TERMS OR THE SERVICE SHALL NOT EXCEED THE TOTAL FEES ACTUALLY PAID BY YOU TO REGLINT IN THE 12-MONTH PERIOD IMMEDIATELY PRECEDING THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM.
8.2 Excluded Damages
IN NO EVENT SHALL REGLINT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF PROFITS, LOSS OF DATA, LOSS OF GOODWILL, BUSINESS INTERRUPTION, REGULATORY FINES IMPOSED ON YOU, OR COST OF SUBSTITUTE SERVICES, EVEN IF REGLINT HAS BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.
8.3 Exceptions to Cap
The liability cap in Section 8.1 and the exclusions in Section 8.2 do not apply to:
- Reglint's gross negligence or willful misconduct;
- Reglint's infringement of your intellectual property rights;
- Reglint's material breach of its confidentiality obligations; or
- Any liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law.
9. Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Reglint LLC, its members, officers, employees, and contractors from and against any claims, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from: (a) your use of the Service in violation of these Terms; (b) your violation of any applicable law or third-party rights; (c) content you submit to the Service; or (d) your final compliance decisions made in reliance on Service output.
10. Dispute Resolution & Arbitration
Please read this section carefully — it affects your legal rights.
This section requires binding arbitration for most disputes and contains a class action waiver. You have 30 days from account creation to opt out (see Section 10.5).
10.1 Informal Resolution First
Before initiating arbitration, you agree to contact us at legal@reglint.ai and make a good-faith effort to resolve the dispute informally for at least 30 days.
10.2 Binding Arbitration
If informal resolution fails, any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service (including their formation, performance, breach, or termination) shall be resolved by final, binding arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association (AAA) under its Commercial Arbitration Rules, with the arbitration seated in Arlington, Virginia, USA.
The arbitrator shall have authority to grant any remedy available at law or in equity, subject to the limitations in Section 8. The arbitrator's award shall be final and binding, and judgment may be entered in any court of competent jurisdiction.
10.3 Individual Basis — Class Action Waiver
ALL DISPUTES MUST BE ARBITRATED ON AN INDIVIDUAL BASIS. YOU AND REGLINT EACH WAIVE THE RIGHT TO A JURY TRIAL AND THE RIGHT TO PARTICIPATE IN A CLASS ACTION, CLASS ARBITRATION, CONSOLIDATED PROCEEDING, REPRESENTATIVE ACTION, OR PRIVATE ATTORNEY GENERAL ACTION. IF THIS WAIVER IS FOUND UNENFORCEABLE, THE ENTIRETY OF SECTION 10.2 SHALL BE VOID AND DISPUTES SHALL BE RESOLVED IN COURT UNDER SECTION 11.
10.4 Carve-Outs (Not Subject to Arbitration)
The following claims are expressly excluded from mandatory arbitration and may be brought in any court of competent jurisdiction:
- Claims for infringement, misappropriation, or protection of intellectual property rights (including patents, trademarks, trade secrets, and copyrights);
- Claims for emergency injunctive or other equitable relief to prevent immediate, irreparable harm; and
- Claims within the jurisdictional limit of small claims court in the applicable jurisdiction.
10.5 Opt-Out Right — 30-Day Window
You may opt out of binding arbitration.
New users have 30 days from the date of account creation to opt out of the arbitration agreement in Section 10.2 without affecting any other provision of these Terms.
To opt out, send a written notice to legal@reglint.ai with:
- Subject line: Arbitration Opt-Out
- Your full legal name as registered on the account
- Your account email address
Opting out does not affect your right to use the Service. If you opt out, disputes will be resolved under Section 11 (Governing Law) in Virginia courts.
11. Governing Law
These Terms and any disputes arising out of or related to the Service shall be governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-law provisions. For disputes not subject to arbitration (or where arbitration is opted out or found unenforceable), you consent to the exclusive jurisdiction and venue of the state and federal courts located in Arlington County, Virginia.
12. Modifications to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. For material changes (including changes to pricing, liability limits, or arbitration provisions), we will provide at least 30 days' written notice via email and a prominent in-app banner before the new Terms take effect.
Non-material clarifications (typos, formatting, minor rewording that does not alter rights) may be posted without advance notice, with the updated Last updated date reflecting the change. Continued use of the Service after any Terms change is effective constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.
13. Termination
You may stop using the Service and cancel your subscription at any time via /settings/billing.
Reglint may suspend or terminate your access to the Service immediately, without prior notice, if: (a) you materially breach these Terms or the Acceptable Use Policy; (b) we reasonably believe your use poses a security risk or legal liability; or (c) we are required to do so by law. On termination, your right to use the Service ceases and API keys are revoked.
Sections 1 (Not Legal Advice), 2 (Accuracy Disclaimer), 6 (Intellectual Property), 8 (Limitation of Liability), 9 (Indemnification), 10 (Arbitration), and 11 (Governing Law) survive termination of these Terms.
14. General Provisions
- Entire Agreement: These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, Acceptable Use Policy, and Refund Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Reglint regarding the Service and supersede all prior agreements.
- Severability: If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, that provision will be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it enforceable, and the remaining provisions will continue in full force.
- No Waiver: Failure by Reglint to enforce any provision of these Terms does not constitute a waiver of that provision.
- Assignment: You may not assign your rights under these Terms without Reglint's written consent. Reglint may assign these Terms in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of substantially all its assets.
- Force Majeure: Reglint is not liable for delays or failures caused by circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including infrastructure outages, acts of government, or natural disasters.
